Nobody told me I married Bob Villa

Living Room as of Thursday Night Posted by Picasa

Today Curt came home about 12:30 today because the guy he works with threw his back out in the middle of a job, and all the jobs they had to do today require two people. He came home all pumped up to work on the living room, which should have made me happy. Instead it was like he was ruining my alone time because I had planned to go to the mall and walk around in the AC and just spend the day relaxing.

Plus when it comes to cleaning, home repair, or putting together something like a piece of furniture we do not work well together if it is just the two of us (as long as someone else is around we are fine). Any other time we get along just great. Both of us are stubborn and have completely different ways of doing things. Curt is a little more high strung and gets frustrated easily. I'm more laid back, unless there is someone giving off a frustrated vibe then I end up getting pissed off.

On top of that you have to realize it was HOT today, my feet were swollen, and my hormones were going crazy. So normally some smart frustrated comment that Curt makes would make me snap back with something witty or funny, today I just cried... Which only frustrated Curt more and he would yell "STOP CRYING" which would only make me cry harder.

Despite all of that we ended up getting some more of the living room painted and moved the desk to the other end of the living room because Curt's mom convinced him that someone might come to the door and see it and want to break in. I just want everything to be over so I can just relax the last two weeks of my pregnancy (or how long I have left) and not be stressed out that my kitchen sink is full of paint, or worry about tripping over random wood scraps, or tools. Plus it would be so nice to just have our laziness back and go back to laying on the couch watching TV together while our dinner digests. I have a feeling those days are gone forever.
