Early Reader

Tonight Lucas was playing on the floor happily talking to himself while I sat near him in the chair watching TV (you know ignoring him to watch TV just like a good mom would) when I look over at him and HOLY CRAP HE WAS STANDING UP HOLDING ONTO HIS 5-in-1 Gym. Since I didn't see him get into this position I laid him back on the ground and then there he went... crawling up using the seat part to help he crawl to the handles and there he was STANDING!

So I of course go get the camera to capture it so I can show it to the whole world (at least those with internet connections) and wouldn't you know it he didn't feel like standing anymore because he found me stack of magazines and who wants to stand when you can read a good "How to Potty Train my Toddler"article in Parenting Magazine? Later that evening right after I had put my camera on the charger (I drained my batteries trying to catch him standing) he decides "hmm maybe I'll give that whole pulling up thing a try again." Silly baby!
