Our playgroup has started "Preschool Friday," and today was the very first day of school. Since our kids are still so young it isn't anything over the top. They just sit in circle time for 10-15 minutes and we talk about what the weather is like outside, what day of the week it is, and they sing songs and listen to a story. Also each day will focus on another color, shape, letter, and number. Today's themes were Red, circle, A, and 1. After the class was over the kids colored pictures of things that related to what we had talked about. It was really neat and I'm glad we decided to participate.
