Fabulous Friday

Today Lucas and I met some of our friends at Forsyth Park.

He kept running over and giving his friend Krissy hugs. The two of them would hug each other until they fell to the ground laughing and then they would get up and hug again.

Lucas used to drive Krissy crazy by trying to pull out her barrettes and take up her personal space. It was so nice to see them both laughing together.

We were the last ones to leave the park so we just sat on the grass and relaxed before walking back to the car.

Lucas was so tired he couldn't decide if he wanted to go home or stay and play.

Right as we were leaving the park I realized that Lucas' sippy cup had spilled in the diaper bag and my cell phone was floating in the spilled water. Since this is the third time my phone has been submerged in liquid I don't think it is going to come back from the dead.

Tonight I got to go out for a girls night with Brandi. She had this fun idea of going to South Carolina for the best Mexican food on the East Coast. I was a little skeptical but I'm always up for a road trip. I was very pleased to find out that she wasn't exaggerating at all! Seriously, I had the best Mexican food at Mi Tierra since moving back to the East Coast. It was well worth the drive. After dinner we did a little shopping at Target before heading home. I always have the best time with Brandi and she ALWAYS knows the best places to go. She needs to write her own little travel guide.
