I've found a way to enjoy peace and quiet in the car... I've filled my ipod with tons of toddler songs and hand over to Lucas in the backseat. This kid seriously cracks me up! On the way home today from our latest pool party playgroup he kept trying not to fall asleep. At one point he was asleep and snoring and his hands would drop a little and he would wake up long enough to hold the ear phones right back up to them. I guess he takes his Old McDonald very seriously.
This evening he took my ipod into his room and was jamming out while pulling all of his books of the shelf. When he brought one out to us to read Curt and I were overpowered by a very strong smell. Somehow he got his hands on his Baby Vicks Vapor rub and smeared it from head to toe. Since Curt was the parent on duty at the time of the incident (I was taking a nap since I was up with Lucas at 3AM when he woke up all chipper and happy and wanting to color and I had to get him back to sleep) so he ended up having to give Lucas a bath before we could put him to bed. I can't even imagine what he will get into tomorrow.
