Celebrating the First Night in the Big Boy Bed

Lucas' first night in his big boy bed was a success. He did go to bed REALLY late and get up REALLY early but he stayed in his bed all night.

Even though we were both pretty tired I wanted to make a big deal out of his latest milestone so we went to a special lunch. Lucas rarely gets fast food so he was super excited to get a kids meal. I just got water and sat there and focused on giving him my full attention and we just hung out.

When we got home it was such a pretty day so we played a little bit of t-ball before going inside and putting Lucas down for a nap (which went smoothly.) Oh not only was it Lucas' first night in a big boy bed last night it was also his last time in a high chair. Wow, my little baby is growing up!
