I haven't posted lately because I've just been too tired. This weekend a rooster moved in with the chicken next door. The rooster is a very early riser and is fond of 4:30AM wake up calls (which don't really stop until it gets dark) The only fan of the chicken and the rooster is Lucas. He has named both birds Mommy Chicken and Daddy Chicken. It is a big production getting him into the car because he wants to "bok & crow" back and forth to them all day long. Also if he is eating chicken he likes to make chicken noises which kind of skeeves me out just a little bit. I have a feeling that Lucas is going to wake up soon and be disappointed that his new friends are gone.
Lucas' rash seems to be almost completely gone. We never did know what caused it. I ended up getting a cold at the end of the week and over the weekend he caught it from me. If that wasn't enough he also had an "upset stomach" which caused a nasty diaper rash. Can't my little guy catch a break? He finally seems to be on the road to recovery though and I am so excited that tomorrow we finally get to see our friends tomorrow at playgroup (KNOCK ON WOOD)
