Easter Basket & Easter Story Cookies

Before the Easter Bunny filled Lucas' basket.

Sometime this morning Lucas crawled in bed with us. Luckily he didn't see his Easter basket on the way to our room. I woke before him and just watched him sleeping for a few minutes. He woke up soon after and said "Did you hear that? I think it was the Easter Bunny!" He was so excited when he saw his "basket" that he set out the night before filled with goodies.

Playing his new "Pet Pals" Leapster Game. Jadie heard the dog sounds and came and sat down beside him to watch him play. He named his pooch in the game Jadie.

Then we went and checked on the Easter Story Cookies that we made right before bedtime. They came out WAY better than last years! We took them to church with us and shared them. I didn't want to have extra sweets sitting around the house.
