Our dining room as of today.

Today we pretty much darn near finished the dining room. We finished the tile on the floor, finished painting , and added a carpet and herbs in flower pots to the window seals. We also added our little cabinet in the dining room and I started painting a design on it. Curt also hung his clock that used to be in our living room. It really looks nice! I can't believe it is the same room! We still have a few things we still want to do plus there are random tools everywhere.

Now that Curt sees what the dining room and nursery look like I think he has caught the remodeling bug and wants to totally redo the living room. He has already added trim around the ceiling in the living room. Now he wants to get rid of our sofa and love seat, coffee table, and big screen TV, and get a Futon, Entertainment center and smaller TV. I'm just worried that a futon (and our lazyboy) won't be enough lounging space. I know it is just the two of us (well plus one soon) but when we watch movies we both like to lay down. So who knows. Plus I also want to get a dishwasher before the baby comes!

To update my "dirty" cat post the mama cat and her kittens are no longer here. Curt's mom Andea took them to the humane society. Since the mama was a Persian and worth $300 she was adopted right away (oh and she was PREGNANT AGAIN) At least she won't be having kittens under our steps and rubbing fleas on Jadie. I'm glad Andrea took them because I couldn't have.

Well I guess I am off to research TVs, Futons, and Entertainment Centers...
