Naked Knees.

Yesterday Ashlee # 1 told me that naked legged babies can learn to crawl faster because they don't have anything restricting their leg movements of making them slide. This morning I decided to let Lucas play on the floor without pants. (Usually I dress him head to toe not because I am worried about him catching cold or Jadie licking his little baby legs, but because he has so many 3-6 month clothes and if I waited until we were going out or some other silly reason like that he wouldn't even wear half of his clothes). Almost immediately he started to try and scoot up to grab a toy that was out of reach.

He has tried to scoot and kick his legs out before but I think his little pants would keep his knees slipping back. Today with naked knees he was able to stick his little butt in the air (yes mom I said butt) and move a couple of inches more than he could before. I took a little video but I am going to warn you it isn't half as exciting as I make it sound. Well it is to me... but I am his Mom.
