I've been really slack about updating lately and posting new pictures. I still haven't painted the bedroom or tiled the floor (or started for that matter.) I've just been enjoying Lucas and spending time with Curt. Curt has been working from 6AM-3PM so he can spend more time with us at home. He loves his "new" job still, especially since he can make his own hours and that he can roll out of bed a little later since it is so much closer. It is amazing how much less I get done around the house with Curt home because I stop doing laundry or cleaning when he gets home to just hang out... but it is nice. We haven't gotten any stupid fights lately (knock on wood) because he is more relaxed for loving his job and we just enjoy watching Lucas laugh and play with us.
We finally got our tax refund (so hopefully I'll get my butt in gear revamping our bedroom) and this is the conversation when had when I told Curt I had deposited it in our account:
Me:"hey guess what check I deposited today!"
C:"Oh you mean MY tax refund check from me working?" (He was joking of course)
Me: No, most of the money is from ME working!
C: Huh? What do you mean?
Me: Well, let's see the majority of the money we got was because we now have Lucas and I think I worked pretty hard carrying him for nine months and then pushing his 10 lbs 4 oz of baby out of me, so if you want to be technical about it, the money should be mine and Lucas'
C: Laughing, "so you deposited OUR money today?"
