I just realized that in almost two weeks we will be heading to California. WOW! I am already making a list in my mind of all the things I need to pack before we go and all the things we need to do. The last couple of weeks I have started storing the leftovers from dinner in little ziplock containers and freezing them. While we are gone for a week all Curt has to do is pop them in the microwave and reheat and eat. Yes, I know he is fully capable of feeding himself, kinda. When I studied abroad in Trinidad he survived on spaghetti sauce mixed with hot dogs and poured on top of various things.
Lately I've been really bad about taking pictures of Lucas. He spends his days now scooting all over the place and following me around while I do things around the house. It is very hard to get a newly mobile baby to pause for a few pictures. Lately all of the pictures of him have been of me holding him right before I put him to bed. I walk by the computer on the way to his room, see the camera, remember that I haven't taken any pictures, snap a few, then put him to bed.
After not really writing for a while it is very hard to get back into the swing of things! I am going to end this here and go mop the kitchen. I HATE mopping more than any other chore in the world!!! Since Lucas IS now following me EVERYWHERE I go, I figure I better give him a clean space to follow me on. (See how much I love this kid?!?) I however, will not embarrass myself by posting before (or after) pictures of our kitchen floor.

I noticed you had 15 days. I bet you are getting so excited. I think around this age it was hard to remember to take pictures of Colby too, because he was on the go all of the time. Lucas is growing up so fast.
I'll take whatever pictures you're able to get - mobile or not lol
