After Lunch I took the boys to the park to burn off some of their energy. The park is really new and there isn't any playground sand down yet. There are rocks everywhere so Lucas couldn't really just go free and play where he wanted.
We didn't stay long at the playground because of the rocks and because it was about to rain. On the way back to the car we stopped to let the boys watch the ducks waddle around.
We got back to the car at the perfect time. It started to sprinkle as soon as I clipped Lucas in his car seat. After Sam picked Steven up we started to get ready to go to dinner at a friends house. Curt wasn't thrilled about going since he had never met the people (it is one of the mom's from my playgroup and her husband who happens to be the preacher at the church Lucas and I go to.) Well, we ended up having a blast and Curt was glad we went. During dinner they asked if Lucas said "Mama" ever and just as we both shook our heads and said "not really" Lucas yells "Mama," and we all start laughing.
I just realized I forgot to update about Lucas' neurologist follow up appointment on Thursday. The Neurologist said he looked great and doesn't want to ever seem him again unless it is at the mall (meaning he hopes he doesn't ever need to come back) and he is glad that he didn't have to do a MRI after all. He also weighs 21 lbs 7 ounces (clothes on) and is 30 inches long and his head is 47

Are you sure it wasn't 47 cm around. Otherwise your kid has a big mellon.

Hmm.. you are prob right! LOL They just said "it's 47" and I didn't think about it at all and just thought it was inches since that was what they used for his height.... ooops.
