Fantastic Friday

Lucas and I started our day off with going to preschool. He learned about squares, the color yellow, the number 2 and the letter B today. He also made a little yellow Bear out of construction paper. Afterwards the kids played together and had snacks. We were the first to leave because he had an important lunch date.

Lucas' great-Grandparents were in town on their way back to Michigan (we haven't seen them in a year.) Lucas and I got to have lunch and spend most of the day with them.
Lucas had an absolute blast playing with his Grandpa. One of his favorite things was riding back and forth on the luggage carts while his Grandpa pushed him.

They also got Lucas a giant Teddy Bear which is almost as big as Lucas himself. Lucas loves it and is sleeping with it tonight. The bear was also a HUGE lifesaver when Lucas' bad Mommy forgot to bring his blanket baby with us when we left the house. The teddy made a great temporary replacement.

We came home just long enough for Lucas to take a nap (and to be reunited with his baby) and for Curt to get home from work then we headed back into town to meet up with the rest of his family for dinner.

Love the pic of him on the luggage cart! Did you ride, too? ;) Looks like fun!
