Today we had playgroup at a really neat park where one of my friend’s live. It was the first time I had been to a park that did not have wood chips or dirt on the ground. This park had some sort of rubbery bouncy material on the ground.
As always Lucas had a blast playing with his friends. It seemed like the place to be was in this little play house that had a little table inside.
Lucas got tired of playing with the kids his own age and decided he was one of the big kids.
He kept trying to climb up on this rope thing like the big kids but could not figure out how to get up there. He kept looking at me and saying “up! Up! Up!”
He was happy when they finally got down and went in the little house because he could follow them there and he squeezed in between them.
I am so thankful for our playgroup. I know I say it all the time but I’m so lucky to have all of these great women as my friends. Today we all got to see Hannah walk all by herself without holding on to anyone for the first time. We were all as excited as we were when our own kids first took off for the first time.
