Today was filled with even more whining, well I guess it is more of a whining grunt "uhh uhh uhh." The last few days it seems to have started out of no where. Today I found myself saying "Mommy doesn't understand when you whine, use your big boy words," over and over again. When that doesn't work I usually whine back at him. Lucky for us he finds it almost as annoying as we do.
We did get out of the house to run a few errands. I think he liked being out of the house but was annoyed that he didn't have my full attention during the errands. Tomorrow I'm going to take him out and do something fun and give him my full attention. Something scary happened while we were running errands. I was driving and missed my turn so I did a safe u-turn and all of a sudden I hear screaming coming from the backseat. I look back and there is Lucas strapped in his car seat with the car seat on it's side. Somehow the belt had come unbuckled and the force from the turn made him flip over.
Luckily there was a parking lot nearby where I could safely pull over to make sure he was okay. He calmed down once I sat him back up and secured his car seat. I'm glad this happened today and not in the middle of some accident. The only explanation I have is that last week when my nephew Steven was riding with us to the beach he accidentally tried to unbuckle the wrong seat belt and maybe halfway unfastened it without realizing it. From now on every time I put Lucas in the car I'm going to make sure the buckle is fully clicked in.

Oh no! That is SO scary about the car seat!
And, may I have some cheese with my whine... It´s been near constant whining with Hannah the past couple of days... sigh.
