Today Lucas was scribbling on his doodle toy and I suggested that he draw
Jadie. Normally he ignores me and keeps drawing what he was going. Out of nowhere he drew a head, 4 legs, a tail, eyes and a mouth. It really surprised me because I've never seen him draw like that before. Before I could take a picture he erased it.
To see if it was a fluke or if maybe I was seeing something that wasn't really there, I asked him to draw his Daddy. and he drew something that "looks" like a person. This time I made sure I took a picture of his work before he could erase it. Is this "normal" at this age?

Very cool! I think they usually start that around 3... You must have a genius on your hands!
