Yesterday Lucas did not want to use the potty a single time so I was starting to think his pooping success the day before was a fluke. This morning however, he wanted to go sit on the potty. Nothing happened but he hung out and flipped through a book and seemed like he was trying to go but no luck. This evening he asked to go to the potty again and went pee and poop in the potty. We got him all wiped off and he ran to tell his Daddy about what a good job he did.
During bath time while Lucas was splashing around I told him how proud I was of him and what a good job he was doing. I also told him what a big boy he was getting to be. He looked up at me and said "Like Daddy! I go pee and poop like a big boy, just like Daddy."

How cute! I'm so proud of Lucas for being a big boy and pooping and peeing in the pot! Way to go!
My mom made a book for my nephew when he was potty-training that featured all of the grown-up men in his life, like his dad and grandpa (my dad), and I think it really helped him out. Maybe you can do the same for Lucas!
