Parental Lesson #365: You Can Baby Proof, But There is No Such Thing as Toddler Proofing


Yes, that is a picture of my new phone. Yes, it is covered in black sharpie permanent marker. Yes, we keep the sharpies up "out of Lucas' reach" on the highest shelf in our house. Yes, that only makes them more tempting.

Oh my!!... He loves his markers doesn't he!!...So, what did Mommy do about it? Do I need to come take Lucas away for a few days! Ha!

Oh and it this ever happens to anyone else all you have to do is rub the marker off with an eraser. It also works for computer screens.... we found that out several months ago.

I've realized you can't have nothin' nice with kids and animals around the house. I've given up the ghost. I'll keep things clean, but that's about all I can do anymore.

Oh no...oh G-d no. I'm so glad you were able to get that off. That is just horrible. Now I have another reason why I NEVER let the children at the JEA play with my new, very expensive cell phone.
