I've always wanted to be one of those mothers that could sew things like Halloween Costumes without even batting an eye. I also think it would be useful if I could alter things or even create simple baby blankets and tote bags. Several of my friends are very talented at sewing and have offered to teach me but I don't think I was ready to learn before. Now I am thinking of biting the bullet and buying a sewing machine and trying to learn how to sew. I don't know how to explain it but lately I've been really feeling the need to create things with my hands.

ME TOO! Brandi said she's teach me how now that the wedding is over. It doesn't seem like it would be that difficult (simple stuff anyways, I know that there are intricate things, but I just want to do basic stuff). I'd also like to learn to quilt.
