Tax Time

Well I just did our taxes and this is the 3rd year in the row I've done them. So far so good. We owe state about $60 and Federal Owes us about $70. So guess we don't really owe anything, which is a good thing! I feel so smart doing our taxes. I guess that college degree was good for something! LOL

I am excited for this next week! Thursday I am going to lunch at my friend Brandi's house. She is the coolest most unique person I think I have ever met. She just has her own style to her and she is intelligent and funny! She is also the editor of Calliope, which is Armstrong Atlantic State University's Lit Mag. I graduated in December but I am still going to help out with this edition because it gives me something to do, plus I had a lot of fun last time... we won 1st place for the 2004 edition!

Anyway after lunch we have a lit mag meeting to discuss some of the work. So I'll have new stuff to read. Which reminds me I need to find a good book to keep me occupied. I made a big dent in the computer room. I started throwing out old school papers and went through my eBay things to give away stuff to the Goodwill that I know won't sell or won't be worth selling. I have a trash bag full of clothes to drop off.

I guess one of the next steps will be getting the smaller computer desk so we can move the computer from the office to the living room. Also I need to shampoo the carpets. Well I think I am going to eat something and try to sleep. My sleep schedule is all messed up now! After I got up at 4 am Sunday I went back to bed at 8 until about 10 AM and then I fell asleep about 6-8:30 pm.
