Mr. Mom

Today I took Lucas in for his circumcision. Before I had to sign all these papers stating the things that could go wrong (including loss of function) and I almost wanted to grab my baby and run out the door. I signed the paper and handed Lucas to the nurse who was VERY ANGRY by being away from his mommy (which made me feel a little better). I could hear him screaming all the way in the waiting room. They gave him his pacifier and calmed him down and that was the only time he cried.

I got to see Ashlee her husband Michael, and their baby Jacob. (She was in my Childbirth classes) Compared to Lucas he looked so tiny! I also got to see Jill (she is the midwife that delivered Lucas and I've known her forever because she used to work with my mom) and she was just as happy as I was to see her. She gave me a big hug and oohed and ahhed over Lucas.

Today Curt also went for a job interview because his boss is being a HUGE jerk. He still hasn't filed the workmen's comp papers and it looks like he is going to keep jerking everybody around! He worked there before (about 5 years ago) but was let go because he was the last one hired and they didn't have enough work for everyone. He really liked it back then and they had insurance.

Anyway Curt got the new job if he wants it BUT it is 7 days a week with no real set hours of getting off because they are so backed up with work. Also the guy might be selling his business in 6 months, and they no longer offer insurance. It is a little bit more money but I don't want Curt killing himself so I think he is going to stick it out where he is now and keep looking for something else. I think now that he is a Dad he wants to find something more secure (we don't have insurance now either).

He keeps saying he wants to be a stay at home Dad and since I graduated from College I could make more money so I could go to work. I told him when he can breastfeed I'm all for it. (His answer was "well you could pump) Then I told him Okay when you give birth you can (He says "I did, I gave birth to Jadie... remember) and we both laughed.

I go need to get more things posted on Ebay though.

Sorry to hear it wasn't the perfect place, with insurance and he could just leave the jerky place right away. I hope that things get better in the job situation, by getting a different one or if by some HUGE Gimongous Miracle his boss stops being a JERK. It is so nice that you were so kind as to only call him a JERK.
