This May be Too Much Information...

So the last couple of days I have felt the strangest movements in my lower stomach. The moments remind me almost of the first flutterings of Lucas I felt while I was pregnant. Well when it kept happening every day I started to get freaked out. I kept having all of these "OMG what if I am pregnant? I CANNOT be pregnant! If I am I don't want to tell our family... Lucas is not even 9 months yet! Two kids in diapers?" I usually don't even mention my freak outs to Curt anymore because his calmness just makes me freak out more. Also, as much as I love the guy in these types of situations he loves to gloat about his annoying "rightness!"

So tonight after I put Lucas back down after his night time feeding I grabbed a 20 oz Gatorade and headed to Wal-Mart to buy a stick to pee on. I love Wal-marts self check-out... no nosy cashiers getting in your business. This is the second pregnancy test I have taken since Lucas has been born. I guess every few months I just freak myself out even though we are VERY careful because I still haven't gotten my period back (thank you breastfeeding.) which as you can see has some big drawbacks. Also, I think the fact that I was on the pill when I did get pregnant the first time plays a big part in my FREAK outs. Oh well I guess the amount of money I am saving on personal hygiene products doesn't come close to the amount of money I have wasted on pregnancy tests ($8.00). Besides, I guess a little piece of mind isn't that big of a waste after all.

I thought about posting this picture at the top of this post but I didn't want to possibly give anyone a heart attack for the brief moment they may have thought I was pregnant.

Oh also I am a BIG HUGE dork! After I calmed down a little and started to think I realized that I have started doing pilates this week and I must just be feeling the muscles in my abs for the first time in my life!!! Pilates is the greatest most calming workout I have ever tried. While you are doing it mostly it just feels like a really good stretch but afterwards I can really tell that I got an amazing workout.

Whew! I'm glad you didn't put the picture at the top of the page - that would have given me a heart-attack until I deciphered the tiny writing on the side of it. I'm sure that if you WERE pregnant you'd cope with it beautifully, but I know what you mean about wanting to enjoy your current little one a while longer. Keep up the pilates!! Anything calming is worth doing in my books!

Ean was that old when I found out we were pregnant with Ben. You did freak me out because i always look at the pictures first. My first thought was oh no, flying and morning sickness that's gonna suck!
