Today we went back to the park for a play-date/birthday party. Lucas had a blast eating birthday cupcakes (which are becoming a staple in his diet with all the birthdays we have attended lately), playing with his friends, and playing with his party favor.
It is so cool to see Lucas really playing with his friends now.
Boys are so much fun!
It is hard work being the birthday boy!
Lucas wanted so show him how much fun he was missing by sleeping through some of the party.
On the way home we stopped by my parents' house so Lucas could say hi to the Grandmas. He was very happy to see that Marshmallow (the cat I got the summer before 3rd grade) was not hiding like she usually does when he is there. She was napping when we came in and didn't have time to hide. He got to pet her for a minute or two before she ran away.

I saw that first picture and for some reason thought that Lucas had crawled into a dryer. Clearly I am not getting as much sleep as I thought I was ^o.0
