Playing Tourist

This afternoon Lucas and I decided to go on a spontaneous trip to the roundhouse. We have a family pass and we haven't used it since we renewed it a few months ago. It is still one of Lucas' favorite places to spend an afternoon.
Then we decided since we were already there to go across the street and visit the Savannah History Museum (which is also included in our family pass.) We saw a little bit of the mueum when we spent the night there a few months ago so we thought it would be fun to take a closer look. They had some neat interactive things in there like an area where you can try your hand at sketching a statue. Lucas also loved seeing the old weapons and military uniforms.
Our last stop was Ellis Square where they just opened a splash fountain for the kids right outside of City Market. It was our first time there and I'm sure it won't be our last.
Next time we'll bring Lucas' swimsuit though.
We had a great afternoon and didn't spend a dime.
