Catching Up

I don't know why but something about the way his face looks reminds me of my Dad (who is still locked up with Jury Duty) I wish I had a baby picture of his to compare it to right now

Lucas is still on his schedule and it is so nice! Tonight we got to see Sam's (Curt's youngest sister) new apartment. She just moved in. It was really nice. Right now Sam is finishing up school to be a hair stylist (I hope that is the right term) and she seems to really love it. She is already working at Bella's Classic Cuts and she takes Walk-ins on Sundays and Mondays. We are all real proud of her. After the apartment walk through we went to dinner at Godfather's with Sam and Andrea (Curt's Mom). We always have a good time catching up. We didn't stay that long because everyone was tired. On the way home Curt called his sister Angela in Tucson to catch up with her. It still doesn't seem like she lives across the country from us. We walked in the door at 8:00 PM in time to start getting Lucas ready for bed.

Sam isn't the only one that is moving into a new apartment. Soon my sister Lori (and then her husband Tony once he returns from Iraq) will move into their first apartment in King's Cove which is where Curt and I got our first place. My Dad also lived there before he met my mom over 30 years ago.

Oh and Curt's Dad is going in for surgery this week. They are going to take a disk out of his neck and replace it with a metal disk and cut open his hip for the bone marrow to use for it as well. We are praying that goes well.
