In Tents

Today we had a play date with Lucas' oldest friend, Nick (They've "known" each other since in utero.) Lucas loved playing in Nick's new tent with him while I enjoyed catching up with Nick's mom.

Also, I forgot to mention a few days ago that Lucas had his speech therapy evaluation this past Thursday. He is 17 months old and on a 18 month level for the words he is using and a 21 month level for his comprehension so the ST said this backs up their initial thought that his tantrums have been coming out of his frustration of not being able to communicate like he wants to. They are not sure if his insurance will cover ST since he is advanced and not behind for his age. In case that does happen I'm going to start signing more with him at home. Today he signed "more" when he wanted more breakfast and he has also started shaking his head "yes" and "no" to answer questions.
